Alternative Gifts for Literacy
The Share Literacy Alternative Giving Program allows you to give a gift much more meaningful than jewelry or a necktie. You can give a gift that keeps on giving and benefits children and families with far fewer advantages than we have. Businesses are welcome to participate in this program.
 To participate in the Share Literacy Alternative Giving Program, click on the PDF form below and make a list of the names and addresses of those on your gift list who you want to acknowledge, then send it to us along with your donation. ISHK-Hoopoe Books for Afghanistan Program
This fund will help with the translations and development of Hoopoe books and complementary teaching materials to schools and children in Afghanistan, as well as help with the printing, shipping and distribution to children inside Afghanistan. You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to this effort, or by purchasing Hoopoe Books online, where the proceeds can go towards this project. ISHK-Hoopoe Books for Pakistan
Your donation is desperately needed. ISHK-Hoopoe Books is now collaborating with DIL (Developments in Literacy) to donate children's books by Idries Shah to the children they serve. DIL runs 150 schools serving approximately 15,000 children, especially girls, in underdeveloped regions in Pakistan.
